Tennant Expands ec-H2O™ Product Offering


  It may be one small step for Tennant Company, but it could be one giant leap for industrial cleaning.  ec-H2O™ chemical-free cleaning technology is now available on two additional larger battery-powered rider scrubbers, including the Tennant 7300 Mid-Sized Battery-Powered Rider Scrubber and the Tennant 8300 Battery-Powered Sweeper-Scrubber. The technology, which converts plain tap water into a powerful cleaning agent without any added chemicals, will now be more easily be applied in light to applied in manufacturing, warehousing, retail stores, shopping malls, aviation, and food and beverage facilities.

Tennant Company’s ec-H2O technology was introduced in late 2007 on the Tennant T3, T5 and 5680 / 5700 and Nobles SpeedScrub walk-behind automatic scrubbers. It was extended to the Tennant T7 Micro-Rider, T15 Mid-Sized Scrubber and the Nobles Speed Scrub® Rider in early 2009.

The ec-H2O technology, developed by Tennant researchers and engineers was named by R&D Magazine as one of the most technologically significant developments in 2008 and has continued to win global awards for innovation.  Most recently, ec-H2O won the prestigious European Business Award for Innovation.
