“The Tennant Eco-FLEX epoxy is waterproof, flexible and prevents cracking due to slab movement and vibrations—including vibrations from noise and movement, which makes it a highly versatile product applicable to many markets,” said Mike More, group marketing manager with Tennant Company. “From mezzanines in sports stadiums to mechanical rooms in commercial facilities, the Tennant Eco-FLEX epoxy offers superior protection while enhancing a floor’s appearance.”Specifically, the Tennant Eco-FLEX epoxy enhances a floor’s appearance by reducing cracking in areas subject to damage from vibrations or sub-floor movement; continues to flex and bend and to withstand cracking throughout the life of the coating; deadens sound; and reduces the risk of water damage to areas below the coated surface.Part of the Tennant Eco-Advantage® family of coatings, Eco-FLEX, like the other coatings in the Eco-Advantage family, are known for being environmentally friendly, meaning they:

• require less solvent, which reduces evaporation and contamination;
• are essentially odor-free, which assists with indoor air quality; and
• contain a maximum VOC level of 250 g/L, which supports architects and designers in gaining one Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credit (Eco-FLEX contains a maximum VOC level of just 4 g/L).
